On Saturday November 13th the Van Wert County Fairboard held our annual meeting, at the meeting there were two constitutional amendments that were voted on and passed. The amendments were in change to the qualifications expected of board members and to now have 18 directors instead of the previous 15. With that being said, there are now 3 open director seats that need filled, and these 3 new positions are:

1) The Northern Tier which consists of Tully, Union, Hoaglin, and Jackson townships. 

2) The Central Tier consists of Harrison, Pleasant, Ridge, and Washington townships. 

3) The Southern Tier which includes Willshire, Liberty, York, and Jennings townships. 

These new regional directors will each be appointed to a specific term / class to ensure that each year there will be 6 up for election. Anyone who is interested in joining the Van Wert County Fairboard as one of the above regional directors, should send a brief bio along with all contact information via mail, email @  vwfair@bright.net , or drop off a copy at the office!
